VERBA is always on the lookout for freelance translators for our projects in all European languages. Whether you work on translations, revisions, proofreadings and/or PDF checks all you need to do is to download the Application form, fill it out and upload it along with your CV.

VERBA projects include tasks such as translation, revision, proofreading, PDF checks, as well as creating and updating termbases.

VERBA is looking for translators with the following qualifications:

• A recognized graduate qualification in translation from an institution of higher education or a recognized graduate qualification in any other field from an institution of higher education plus two years of full-time professional experience in translation
• Excellent language skills, excellent knowledge of grammar and spelling
• Reliability, quick response to inquiries, strict adherence to agreed deadlines
• Knowledge of CAT tools (Trados, Memsource/Phrase, memoQ,…) is a plus, but not mandatory.

VERBA is always ready to consider applications from professionals who do not meet all the criteria. Our projects differ in the way they are done and the requirements from the translators, so we invite you to send us your application and our Vendor Manager will get back to you with their feedback and collaboration options.

After you upload your Application form and your CV, our Vendor Manager will take a look at it and get back to you as soon as possible. 

The first project we will send you will be a test project. The test project is paid. 

Upon your delivery, the translation will be sent for a detailed review by our trusted vendor and we will get back to you with the feedback from the reviewer and the possibilities regarding further collaboration. 

VERBA would like your first project to match your profile as much as possible, so it might be a while until you are assigned the first project. We kindly ask you for your patience in that respect.
