For the purposes of responding to inquiries, preparing quotations, providing services and issuing invoices, we collect the data required for the relevant purpose, such as first and last name, contact details and, where applicable, address and personal identification number (OIB). From legal entities, we also collect the required business data, including the organisation name and OIB.
When certified translations are ordered, we may request additional identification data required for maintaining the Register of Translations and Certifications and fulfilling other obligations of a Permanent Court Interpreter.
Through the contact form, we collect your first and last name, email address and, if you provide it, your telephone or mobile phone number so that we can respond to your inquiry, send you a quotation or request additional clarification.
Documents and other materials provided to us by Clients for the purpose of providing contracted services may contain personal data relating to other natural persons. We process such data exclusively within the scope of providing the contracted services, in accordance with the applicable legal bases, contractual obligations and VERBA’s role in the relevant processing activity.
We collect personal data through forms on our website or through direct communication with our employees and collaborators.
We process data in order to respond to your inquiries, prepare a quotation, provide the requested services, fulfil contractual and legal obligations, and ensure the functioning and improvement of our website.
We process personal data on the basis of taking steps prior to entering into a contract or performing a contract, compliance with legal obligations and, where applicable, our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries, communicating with Clients and protecting legal interests. Where consent is required for a specific processing activity, for example for analytics cookies, we process the data on the basis of the consent provided.
We retain personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, subject to applicable legal and contractual obligations. The retention period depends on the type of data, the purpose of its processing and the applicable retention obligations.
We retain project documentation, including source documents, translations and related materials, for at least two years after completion of the project, or longer where appropriate legal, contractual or other justified grounds exist. Data may also be retained in backups in order to ensure business continuity and enable recovery in the event of an incident, subject to appropriate safeguards.

VERBA CENTAR d.o.o. implements appropriate legal, technical and organisational measures to ensure an adequate level of protection for your personal data. Additional security measures, including specific methods for the transfer, storage or deletion of project files, may be agreed with the Client depending on the requirements and circumstances of the individual project.
In accordance with applicable personal data protection legislation, you have the right to request access to your personal data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, where the applicable legal requirements are met. In certain cases, you also have the right to object to the processing of personal data and the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.
If you believe that your personal data is being processed contrary to applicable regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).
